SPINNING AND WEAVING: A SHARED PASSION

The Arpin Mill is imbued with a rich history. This is why, every year, thousands of people come to our mill to discover our rich history and heritage. Our factory has been listed as a Living Heritage Company (there are only 55 companies in the Rhône-Alpes region with this distinction) by the Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Employment.

This historic location has no fewer than 14 National Heritage-listed machines which are still in use today. It’s thanks to these machines and the skilled hands of our workers that, generation after generation, we’ve been able to produce our unique Arpin fabrics. These are as remarkable to the eye as they are to the touch.

Master spinners, master weavers, machinists, tapestry weavers, hand-quilters… These noble and ancestral professions remain at the core of our factory.
