Questions and Answers about Arpin Cushions
Arpin cushions are made in the brand's historic workshops, using fabrics derived from Alpine know-how developed since the 19th century.
They are made from iconic materials such as Bonneval Cloth or Alpine Fabric, woven according to traditional methods. They are not simply decorative accessories: they are heritage textile pieces.
Tissu des Alpes is a woolen cloth traditionally woven in the French Alps.
It is dense, structured, naturally insulating, and very durable. Its tight weave gives it excellent longevity while retaining a degree of flexibility.
It is a textile originally designed to withstand mountain climates. When used in decoration, it adds character and depth.

Absolutely. The wool used is robust and designed to last.
The tight weave limits wear and maintains the structure of the cushion even after regular use on a sofa or armchair.
Wool cushions require delicate care.
Machine washing is not recommended as it can cause irreversible felting. Professional wet cleaning (gentle cycle) or dry cleaning is recommended depending on the model.
Wool is naturally resistant to odors and light soiling, which limits the need for frequent cleaning.
Arpin wool is an authentic, naturally textured alpine wool. Its feel is more rustic than a very fine wool, giving it structure, character, and durability.
Our cushions are designed to bring warmth and texture to your interior.
Depending on the model, yes.
When the cover is removable, it makes maintenance easier and allows you to adapt the decor to the seasons. This information is specified on each product page.
No.
Although rooted in an alpine tradition, their graphic lines and understated colors blend perfectly into contemporary, urban or minimalist interiors.
