The Tramontane throw, made of 100% wool, requires appropriate care to preserve its natural properties and its longevity. As wool is a living fiber, it reacts to water, heat, and excessive friction.

Machine washing is not recommended, nor is the use of bleaching products or tumble drying, which could irrevocably alter the structure of the Tissu des Alpes. Ironing, if necessary, should be occasional and carried out at a low temperature (110°C maximum), without steam, to avoid any fiber deformation.

For optimal care, professional wet cleaning on a moderate cycle is recommended. Between cleanings, simple regular airing will refresh the material and help preserve the throw's qualities over time.
