The Tramontane throw requires care appropriate to its wool composition and weave structure. This dense, textured material is not suitable for conventional domestic washing. It is recommended to avoid any immersion, as well as the use of bleaching products or tumble drying, which could damage the fibers.

Ironing is still possible at a low temperature (110°C), without steam, as steam could damage the fabric's texture. For appropriate care, professional wet cleaning, on a moderate cycle, is preferable.

Daily, regular airing is sufficient to maintain the freshness of the throw. This gentler approach helps preserve the appearance, drape, and feel of the wool over time.
